Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our custom saddles and tack.
How long does it take to receive a custom-built saddle?
Custom saddle orders typically take 8 to 12 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the tooling and current shop volume. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and ensure every piece meets our rigorous quality standards before shipping.
What type of leather do you use for your saddles?
Corriente Saddle Company uses only high-quality, heavy-duty American steer hide. Our leather is chosen for its durability, comfort, and ability to withstand the rigors of daily ranch work and competitive rodeo events.
Do you offer shipping outside of the United States?
Yes, we ship our products worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by country. Please contact our customer service department for a specific international shipping quote and customs information.
What is your return policy on saddles and tack?
We offer a 10-day trial period on stock saddles. If the saddle does not fit you or your horse, it can be returned for a refund minus shipping costs, provided it is in new condition. Please note that fully customized or personalized saddles are non-returnable.
How do I determine the correct tree size for my horse?
Most of our saddles are built on a standard Quarter Horse Bar (QHB) or Full Quarter Horse Bar (FQHB). We recommend consulting our sizing guide or speaking with one of our experts to ensure the best fit for your horse's wither and back profile.
Are your saddle trees covered by a warranty?
Yes, all Corriente saddles come with a 5-year warranty on the tree under normal use. We stand behind the structural integrity of our wood-and-fiberglass wrapped trees to ensure long-lasting performance in the arena or on the trail.
